1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MD Converter (the "Service"), a product of Adoneinu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MD Converter is a web-based tool that converts Markdown files into styled HTML, DOCX, and PDF documents. The Service provides:

  • Live preview of converted documents
  • Professional themes and customization options
  • One-click export to multiple formats
  • Batch conversion capabilities (Pro feature)

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use MD Converter. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 Accounts

Currently, MD Converter can be used without creating an account. Future features may require account registration. If accounts are introduced, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MD Converter only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on others' rights
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Service without authorization
  • Upload files larger than the stated maximum size (10 MB)

5. File Retention

MD Converter operates on a temporary storage model:

  • Uploaded files: Are removed instantly after conversion
  • Generated files: Converted output files are removed instantly upon download
  • No permanent storage: We do not archive or permanently store your content

You are responsible for downloading and backing up your converted files. Adoneinu is not responsible for any data loss resulting from automatic file deletion.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload and convert using MD Converter. By using the Service, you grant Adoneinu a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service.

6.2 Service Content

The MD Converter Service, including its design, code, themes, logos, and documentation, is owned by Adoneinu and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MD Converter is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adoneinu disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of converted output

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that conversion quality will be perfect in all cases.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adoneinu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Cost of substitute services or products
  • Business interruption or computer system failure

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adoneinu, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights
  • Content you upload or transmit through the Service

10. Termination

Adoneinu may suspend or terminate your access to MD Converter at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We are not obligated to provide you with access to any content you may have uploaded.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Adoneinu is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
